I was just seeing if anyone here has a copy of the may 10th LA times here, I recently placed third in a national cardboard chair competition and there is a small writeup in the home section of the may 10th LA times, and I cant seem to get a copy of it! So if you have it could you possibly send it to me, or scan it (and the cover of the section if possible, esp if theres some sort of picture) and email or something it to me, or both? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the help Joe, he got the links right Andy, If you want to see higher resolution pictures that could be done, but the low quality boards get you the idea.

What a fun looking chair! Congratulations!
As an environmental engineer I salute the competition for promoting the recycling of cardboard! Do the chair designs ever become commercially available? That would make a fun summer project!

I considered making the seat for our 2005 cardboard boat into a couch. It was very comfortable and could hold upwards of 500lbs w/ bending. It was supported by 2 pontoons, so on flat land it wouldn't have bent.
Great job and nice looking chair.
