That's a good one. We have one I have to dig up of 550 lbs worth of mentor standing on our drive base when we were still trying to gat a lift mechanism to work. We decided after that our drive base was strong enough this year.

D5 Robotics version of a strong robot.
We tried to think outside the box when defining "Human Player" ;)

Haha, nope. He is fully supported by the robot. We all cringed a bit when we saw him going to stand on top of it, but Evil Machine V pulled through for us.

In case you're wondering what he's doing, we had to use our giant 5-ft. zip ties to hold our mast up for the bodybuilding show (gravity pulls it down otherwise).

He did not even have to climb the robot. It's amazing how he just hung on to the mast and it lifted him.

But, its ok. I wouldnt be surprised if he was jumping on it. You guys always build good machines.
