Ohio - Urgent Action

Within the next week the Finance Committee is making some funding decisions. Our team has won support for FIRST from Senator Gardner and Representative Wagoner. Senator Gardner is working on an ammendment to add in support of FIRST. Other teams in Ohio should contact these members on the FInance Committe to also support a strong funding ammendment for FIRST.

Team 48 is going to the Columbus Statehouse on June 5th as guests of Representative Letson and Senator Cafaro. We will contact them ASAP ahead of that visit, make certain they are aware of these pending developments and encourage them to lend their support.

Good to know we've got multiple teams fightin' the FIRST legislative battle in Ohio. We know we've got the northeast and northwest parts of the state covered. Who wants to join in from the South? I know 1038's listening. :)
