FIRST Blogs

Hey guys.
I've finally decided I want to start a blog about myself in FIRST and a bit about my team.
What I wanted to ask is if there's any "blogs groups" of FIRST somewhere so I can join the right place and have the right people read my blog.

I did I search, but I found stuff about myspace (not much familiar with it).

Should I join myspace or is there another concentrated place for FIRST blogs?

usually if something is on my mind i usually get it long enough and then post one big thing, sort of like Mark Cuban does on www.blogmaverick.com

i just post my stuff on facebook.

I keep my blog through Blogspot/Blogger hosted through Google... and it works quite well. SPAM doesn't have one at this time, but I strongly discourage using myspace. It's a network of posted garbage... nothing on there should be taken seriously, although my team does have a "group."

Be very wary with Myspace. Merely having an account gets you suspended at some schools, and we were specifically told at the begining of the year to delete any 177, Bobcat Robotics, or related groups so we had no connection. You really lose legitimacy on there.

That said, Blogger is an amazing service, and I highly reccomend it for the free factor, and the complete style ability, since you can write your own template.

Many districts are MySpace psychos and so it against many district policies to write about anything pertaining to school because anything and everything will be used against you. I suggest if you already have a facebook, to use that because it is safer (not as many pedophiles searching through it) and no one can see your not unless you direct link them or they are your friend.

Stay away from Crapspace... I have one but it's got to be the worst way to get any information out. I have several requests a day for people wanting me to add them that are promoting some "nekkid vids" of themselves. I seriously need to close my account.

I went through Blogger, but I couldn't find any blogs related to FIRST, FRC or just plain robotics. :|

The Bomb Squad actually has a blog that is posted on our local newspaper's website through www.blogger.com. It's been really good for getting people to know our team and what we are all about.
