We go to the IRI, Kettering Kickoff, and Team Ford First (if they have one this year- haven't heard much about it yet). That is what we did last year also.:)

We'll be going to Battle o Baltimore. We were originally planning on hosting an offseason (The pair of gyms at one of our schools are just about perfect for an offseason event) but ultimately determined that we did not have enough time to plan and put on the offseason. Maybe next year.

I believe the TechnoKats will be attending...
IRI (http://indianaroboticsinvitational.org/iri/)
Kettering Kickoff (http://www.kettering.edu/orgs/firstrobotics/Kickoff.html) (tentative)
Team Ford FIRST (http://www.teamfordfirst.org/2007_Season/Events/index.htm) (tentative)
I attended BattleCry and plan to attend Bash at the Beach and Ramp Riot in the fall, facilitating NEMO workshops.
(extensive listing here if you're still looking for one to attend - http://www.firstnemo.org/PDF/2007_Calendar.pdf )
We went to these last year and plan to again:
Beantown Blitz
Mayhem in Merrimack
Battlecry @WPI
Bash @ the Beach
River Rage
I guess we go to more events than most teams.
IRI, Fall Classic, possibly Battle at the Border. (All the ones within a short drive, plus IRI.)
Well for teams 494 and 70 it is 4.
IRI (Just 494 but with many 70ers as well)
MARC (Opposite of IRI 70 is going but 494 is going with 70)
Kettering Kickoff (Both are sponsors)
Team Ford First (Great last year and I expect the same again)
We are also considering volunteering at the West Michigan Robotics Invitational.

Most likely we'll go to the Fall Classic and obviously Battle at the Border (http://battleattheborder.org)
IRI...
This is the first time we (or any Israeli team for that matter) are participating in an off season event.

lots of fun!
I haven't been to Cal Games but I'm guessing it's like most off-season events.
The main differences between an off-season competition and a regional are:
-Only one day (sometimes 2)
-No inspections
-No chairmans award or safety award
-Lots of teams have less experienced drivers
-More relaxed (no pressure to qualifying for the championships)
-There is often a human player contest (this is fun)
-Some events make a small change to the game
Other than that it's a lot like a regional event.

1089 this year is doing/has done:
Monty Madness
Duel on the Delaware
Brunswick Eruption
Ramp Riot is in the air for us right now since it's the weekend before BE. Doesn't look like we'll make it to Battle O' Baltimore this year - that's a summer scheduling issue. But I think three is pretty decent!

Our team never has an "off season" We have a demonstration or community service event almost literally every week. And then we also go on group camping trips. I can't count how many off season events we have. :D

48 has attended the IRI every year since 2003. This year, we will also be attending Kettering Kickoff.
Unfortunately The closest ones to Us(Arizona) are at least 6 hours of drive away.
I wish there was some.
but Anyways we will be at Microchip Masters.
Looking forward to that

2199 is only doing 1; Battle O' Baltimore. Figured we only have enough active summer meetings to prepare for one, lack of people to drive, and we'd like to give the BAA a full showing of support since we just joined up with them.

Team 980's five off-season events:
Space Day (Riverside Unified) - full-day of robot demos for middle school.
IRI - an incredible event that every team should experience.
Fall Classic - we're introducing students and staff from John Muir HS (Pasadena, CA) to FIRST here.
CalGames - the premiere off-season event in the west.
Battle at the Border - last "blast" before retiring the robot.
It's just great fun to get some mileage out of our robots...
