Hi-
My team uses EasyC for programming, and are trying to use the EDU robot to refine and hone our skills with the camera, but ran head first into a brick wall. Under the controller setup section, there is no option for the EDU controller. They have the 2004/2005 controller, the 2006/2007 controller and the vex controller. We tried using the 2004/05 option, but after it sends it we get the flashing red light of doom. Can the EDU be programmed with EasyC, if so, how?
Please help
Malhon

The following thread is what you want: http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42267

You can find it by searching for edu easyc and it's even one of the related threads for this thread.

I'm not sure if there is some special way to send EasyC code to the EDU BOT but I'm pretty sure EasyC doesn't support it.

From this thread it also seems that it won't be supported anytime soon.

Well looks like Joe Ross beat me to it.

It would be nice if they supported it so that we could use our EDU controller with EasyC for the new students learning while the main programmers can be using the main controller.

Brad has been very busy with WPI's new robotics program but I'm sure we will hear from him. :)
