It's some site a higher up user from Digg made. It's social networking based on notes and links. You can form groups based around interests, friends or whatever and pass notes along to them. It's an interesting concept but the user base is lacking.
Anyhow, just post an email address and I'll send one off.
I don't understand this pownce thing. It lets you sign up and share things with your friends?
Like... email?
Or kinda like FTP.
Direct connect?
USPS?

It's basically Digg for friends. It pretty much takes the idea of bulletins from myspace, but bases the whole site around it. So like, say your robotics team was on there, you could group them all together and then when there's a meeting you can send out a note about it to the group, upload your new scouting sheets and send them out, or pass around a link to say a topic here. You can then discuss everything easily and quickly.
I don't know, it's an interesting idea but it's not really taking off. But yeah, I have six invites if anyone wants one.
do you get money for this like the windows vista thing you keep talking about?
Pownce is simple. It's got 4 ways to post messages. Plain text, Text & Link, Text & File, or Text & Event. It's really easy to use and I love it.
Think of the social aspect of MySpace with the cool designs of Digg and the ability to share stuff like a webforum. All in one.

Hey, I have to legitimately sell those at some point if they ever come in. But it's looking like Microsoft caught onto the botting. But no, no I don't. It's just an invite only community at the moment for exchanging links and whatnot among friends.

I have tons of pownce invites, as well, so anyone who wants one, just let me know!
