The cool temperature in Rochester is the early warning that summer is on it's way out and fall is coming. So time to start putting away the beach towels and break out the jack-o-lanterns in preparation for the
3rd Annual Ra Cha Cha Ruckus!
Full FRC 2007 game, Custom Vex competition, Mentors getting pied, FLL demos, lots of candy, and more fun then a barrel of monkeys!
October 27th 2007 at Webster Thomas High School NY
in
Webster, NY 14580
$100 per team.

You may be asking yourself how can so much excitement be crammed into one event, well the only way to understand is to come. See ya there.

Just making sure, is it possible to both volunteer and compete in the VEX competition?
Also is it $100 for the VEX competition? It says to register on the Team Registration Page where it states that it is $100 for a team to compete.
Thanks,
Chuck

Yes there should be no problems with volunteering and vex. The $100 is just for FRC. Last year vex registration was $10 and will most likely be the same this year. The game is being finalized right now and should be out in the next couple weeks. Keep looking at the website for further updates.

I think your birdie may be jumping the gun. Look for the game by September 1st.

Actually I saw the game at last meeting.
It'll be up on the Ruckus website soon.

So when can we expect to see the release of the VEX game rules?
I've checked the RCCR website and it still says TBD.
Thanks,
Chuck
It hopefully should be posted later today or possibly tomorrow.
I posted the Vex game last night for Greg so come on down! The facility is spacious thanks to the 1126 SparX hosting it at their monstrous gymnasium and thanks to 1511 Rolling Thunder for spearheading this event for the 3rd year.
I'll be out of town in Seattle for grad school that week but I hope everyone who makes it offer a congratulation to Kim O'Toole and Angry Eric of 1511 who will be newlyweds by the time the Ruckus occurs.
There will be more teams signing up soon as school starts up so get your # in ASAP!

Close Alex, there are more members on the Dawgma team competing... so here's the question now, are 3 heads better than 1? :ahh:

Teamates..., such as an operator, and coach. And we don't have enough parts to make 3 good bots, so why not make one awesome bot? :D
