I saw this today and I thought that it was really cool! How many of you still think this way? I know I do. :D

Those are real LEGO bricks in action. You know, when you buy the giant tub of 500 miscellaneous bricks and just starting building anything that comes to mind. Giant castles/forts, ships, houses, towers, airplanes, anything.

The new "buy this kit and build this model from directions" LEGO kits are so unimaginative and boring.

I agree 100%. I still have my three tubs of legos that I got when I was young and they were still called MegaBlocks. I hate the Technique legos also because they aren't legos, they are just plastic you can build with. Legos are famous for the brick, and that is what I feel they are truly supposed to be.

::sigh:: Time for a lesson in Lego 101.

MegaBlocks are not Lego Bricks. They are knock-offs.

Technic bricks are Lego Bricks, just with some holes and they serve a purpose. They let you build movable Lego objects with gears, rubber band pulleys, and etc..
They really are for the advanced user, but I don't care for them personally to tell you the truth.

"Legos" is not the proper way to address a bunch of Lego Bricks.

Lego Bricks is.

Horray for being a Lego-Maniac!
Yes.. my floor is still littered with them, and so is my desk currently actually.

Awesome ads btw. Kudos to Lego!

LEGO 102 - the word is all caps, like FIRST.

Very cool, Eric. What is that saying, a picture is worth a thousand words?
These pictures are great. They freshly reminded me of youngsters who can convey their thoughts through building sometimes better than words.

A side note - I used to (and still do) imagine all sorts of images like these with clouds and tree branches. Tree branches in the moonlight are the best.

Thanks for the thread and the reminder, great marketing. :)

That's LEGO building for people with imagination and a short attention span (liek me)
