Good eats = Pat's Cheese Steaks down in South Philly. (none of this Geno's crap..lol)

Pat's King of Steaks
1237 E Passyunk Ave
Philadelphia, PA 19147
(215) 468-1547

And for accommodations... not sure, ask 399, they came all the way from California last year so they probably did some research on the subject.

What are you talking about!?! Geno's is so much better than Pat's.

As for food closer to the venue, Ed's pizza is just a couple blocks away (much better than "Drexel Pizza"). Ed's is just a couple blocks down Lancaster Avenue from the DAC (where the regional is). Ed's can also serve your late night food needs during the competition (open until 2:00am on the weekend). May I personally recommend the Buffalo Chicken pizza, it's delicious.

Ok, After living in Philly for 4 years I can tell you that John's is the best place for cheese stakes. Pats and Geno's ant bad but John's is so much better. It is on Columbus ave near the Best Buy and the Home Depot. If you like cheese stakes of roast pork sandwiches you really need to go there.

There is already a thread for the 2008 Philadelphia Regional.

Drexel is simply the best, can't wait to see you and your team there.

ok so me as a member of team 399 traveling to philly last year, which by the way was my favorite competition and I have been to many over my four years on the team. we stayed I think in the Shearton University Hotel. We as in a group of my team would go to College Pizza and the bowling alley every night it was a great place to hang out and even one other team join us. in all there is a lot to do around there we even went to a hockey game.
