I saw this driving around Stanford this summer... of course there was a person in it.... actually one of the guys on the team is in my class.

Stanford came in 2nd overall... I guess they got time penalties..?

CMU's Tartan Racing team, billed as a race favorite, crossed the finish line one minute behind Stanford University's team. CMU started about 20 minutes after Stanford
Stanford may very well have had a perfect run, but CMU finished substantially faster.
