On behalf of all of the past and present Delphi Engineers -
We have been blessed to know and work with Birta Allen.
She epitomized the spirit of Chief Delphi and was the most ardent supporter of our team, the engineers from Delphi, and this program.
She never had a bad word to say and continued to heap praises on the Delphi support team - no matter if we deserved it or not.
We loved her and loved working with her - she made our team better for being a part of it.
Birta fought a valient fight - the kids, parents, and engineers - all had hoped for a better outcome.
For those that met Birta - be assured that you worked with a special lady that believed so deeply in this prorgam.
For those that were not as lucky - it's too bad that you missed out on that opportunity.
To Birta's family - Thank you for sharing Birta with us - we will miss her alot.
We will never forget her infamous call - "Jinga" !
We all knew that it was really secret code for "I love Chief Delphi!"

Mrs. Allen was truly a special lady. It's so hard to believe she's gone. She was one of the most inspiring women that I've had the oppurtunity to meet. She always lifted the spirit of the team no matter what. She will be missed and will always be in our hearts. We should take this time to celebrate her life instead of mourning it, knowing she left the world a better place then when she entered. We are all better people having known Mrs. Allen.

If she was even part of the reason that your team is so successful today and serves as such a role model to the community, then I would say she lived a great life.

My prayers definitely go out to your guys and your team.

I joined this team when I was just starting to find my place in this world. Birta Allen was one of the people that helped to mold me into who I have become. She always loved the team and working with everyone, she was proud of us, and reminded us to be proud of ourselves and our accomplishments. It is truly sad to lose one of your own, but comforting to know that she imparted those best attributes of herself onto each and every one of us.

Birta will truly be missed, but I know that she is still watching over us and smiling , cheering us on - and that is something that we will always have.

Mrs. Allen was a dear mentor, coach and friend to me. She was there for anyone in need. She helped me to believe in myself, and guided me through obticles that I had faced. I will never forget her on going english lessons', and corrections. As Josh another team member said, lets not mourn over her death but remember her accomplishments, and how she touched each and every person whom she came in contact with.

I will miss you Birta, Love You Always.........................

Ms. Allen was an inspirational person who touched many people's lives and helped make Chief Delphi what it is today. Despite fighting cancer she still always had Chief Delphi in her heart. She actually came to one of our regional competitions in a wheel chair while she was ill because the team meant so much to her. There are few people in this world as caring and inspirational as Ms. Allen and there is no one who can take her place.

She was a great person and will be missed terribly but she is in a better place. As stated before by Josh, it is time to celebrate her life and what she accomplished.
