View Full Version : Engineering mentor looking for a team in or around Baton Rouge
After recently moving down to Baton Rouge, I have suddenly realized that I have no way to be involved in the 2008 FIRST season. I am an alumni of team 365 (MOE) and have helped in various ways with teams 1370 and 1493. If you are a team in the Baton Rouge area, please let me know if there's any I can be of assistance.

Brandon,
Check out the list of teams in Louisiana (https://my.usfirst.org/myarea/index.lasso?page=teamlist&area=LA-USA&sort=location)
Or you could contact the Bayou Regional (http://www.bayouregional.org/contact.html)and consider if they have any positions you would enjoy.
Good Luck!

Feel free to try out "Mentor Search" , hopefully we will have more teams from Louisiana registered on the site.

Dan,
I am ecstatic that someone is moving to my old hometown and is interested in starting a FRC team there.
In the past, there have been a few teams from Baton Rouge, but this year it seems that none are registered. Yet.
I believe the Scotlandville Magnet School had a team last year.
You might try talking to one or more of the East Baton Rouge Parish School Board members. They might be able to guide you in the right direction.
I wish I was there to help out. Good Luck.
