To bad the school wouldn't let us back light our water-jetted logo. The orange is lexan with vinyl over it but there's no outlets in the showcase for ac. We tried to get permission to daisy chain of the florescent light's power but, they said it wasn't safe. :D :D I was going to wear my safety glasses:D :D

I have to say, you guys have one of the coolest logos I've seen in FIRST. Keep up the good work. :]

Let me know how you all think that it looks, and what improvements that we could make!
Put something there with a URL for FIRST, and give contact information for the team. Some of the visitors to the school who see the display might be curious, and few might be in a position to contribute to the team.

If you really want a backlit logo, maybe you could charge a battery from the fluorescent light using photovoltaic cells.

Wanna donate some?
Do you think the battery/photovoltaic cells is going to have enough power for the backlight plus the air pump to keep those tubes inflated? By the end of next week they'll need inflating again. Hmmm... would it be easier to vacuum-pump the air out of the display case so the tubes would appear inflated?

Congratulations on a well done and spectacular display. What a great way to get the word out.
Wow, that looks shiny. You will have to think of something to keep those tubes up though. Make a freshman blow it up after school everyday.

That is pretty awesome!!! Congrats guys on getting your school to give you this - shows progress and positives for schools where their school doesn't showcase anything with the team.
side note - imagine how awesome that showcase would be if it was a water game year

hahahahah a water game, and on another note, to the people that were talking about blowing the tubes up.... We have had those tubes sitting on a shelf in our practice area for the last 4 or 5 months, and they have stayed inflated... Maybe we just got really good ones or something.
