Wow, that incredible shrinking machine the students invented really DOES work! Hmmm... what student can I shrink next? :yikes:

Mentor: OK, guys, here's the robot.
Student: Is it programmed?
Mentor: Uh...yes.
Student: Let's see automode...dangit, Mars Rock! Driver control...Hey, we can't control it! E-stop, quick!...Noooooo!
Mentor: Uh-oh...
Mentor's wife: Hey, honey, have you seen our child?
Mentor: ...
Student: Um--does that look like him? *points to kid on field*

You know, that bar looks a lot like the top of my crib. It's easier to pull myself up if I wet my fingers like this. Maybe before each match, someone should go out and lick the robot's grabber.

<npoe> How about a 4-years-later update? What's the kid look like now? Just about ready for JFLL? </npoe>

<not part of entry>It's been awile</not part of entry>

Here is one of the original testers of the FIRST Baby Robotics League (FBRL).
Despite the FBRL's good intentions, the whole idea was scrapped when various items in the KOP were discovered to contain critical levels of lead, which lead to recalls of the entire KOP.
Although the FBRL no longer exists, you can rest assured that the FTC and FRC KOPs will never agian contain items made in China.

You've just got to have respect for that 'father/daughter Baker bonding at FIRST events' tradition. Way cool.

What's this? I thought we were getting a cat in this year's KOP (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/media/photos/29254)! Anybody have a pair of xxxxxxxs safety glasses?

FRC teams shouldn't lower their age requirements
and accept these 2, just because their twins !!

Here we see the GDC revealing the newest game piece. FIRST is now incorporating child development lessons into its challenges. Points are scored each time the baby giggles and penalties are incurred for crying. Bonus points for changing a diaper in autonomous.

Wow, a two-fer, in adjacent weeks no less...

Dang, team giveaways at these regionals get weirder every year. What the heck am I supposed to do with this thing? Hmmm, maybe it would make a good pincushion for all my team buttons......

I got the vote from the (relatively) elder statesmen and women crowd this week. It makes the pain of a -infinity so much easier to bear!

Travis got anOTHer - infinity? Wow.

Is this some kind of record?

(I thought of that little pin cushion with the Buddha and all the little Buddhas or children around it. I must be slipping)
