Just as the title infers, in this thread, post what you blame robotics for. I'll start just to give some examples. Note that they don't all have to be negative things, either.
I blame robotics for:
-my lack of ability to converse with anyone longer than 5 minutes without bringing something robotics-related up.
-making me daydream during class about autonomous doing exactly what it was supposed to do...every time.
-making me use up my math notebook on sketches upon sketches of algorithms for autonomous, organizational diagrams of my code, pseudo-code algorithms, wiring diagrams, control board designs, and random triangles, circles, and squares.
-making me excited to find physics notes when digging through the stuff in my closet.
-making me regularly use trig concepts outside the classroom.
-totally changing my musical taste.
Can't wait to see where this goes...

I blame robotics for...
not letting me get old, close minded, inflexible, or bored/boring.

I blame robotics for...
-lack of sleep during build season
-Dr. Pepper and Mt. Dew consumption (addiction if you will ;) )
-giving me so much to do that I can't get anything done!

I blame robotics for...
-giving me the best opportunities of travel (traveling outside of state for a school related function is really hard to do :P)
-giving me pepsi withdrawls.
-allowing me to see where all the hairspray and face paint goes to during halloween.
-overall putting my in the same room with the most AWESOME people I have met in my life.

I blame robotics for:
-attracting deadbeats who do nothing
-making me lose precious hours of gametime
-get out of school early (notice how they dont have to be BAD things)
-spend more time at school
-working on an electronics box, that no one else has the gall nor expertise at fixing
-getting laughed at in the face for being called a nerd 24/7

I blame robotics for:
...leading me to a career I enjoy
...teaching me countless life lessons
...giving me a learning experience beyond anything you can get in a classroom

I blame robotics for...
...taking away sleep for 6 weeks.
...finding who I really am.
...making me draw triangles, circles, and squares all over my math homework.
...filling my thoughts, dreams and aspirations with robotics.
...taking up ALL of my time.
...making life oh so much better.
i blame robotics for
-steering me from fashion design into engineering.
-giving me friends who are way too awesome for me.
-making me smell like coolant and aluminum when i get home
-giving me the mindset that waking up really early is easy when kickoff/build/regionals come
-making me go on chiefdelphi too much!
