Fine here.

Reminds me of a few days ago when I couldn't access CD (and only CD) for some reason. Then I heard that one of the other dorms had very limited Internet access...school network problem!

Well it works now for me, I was in my school's computer lab so I guess it was just a random occurrence, never had that problem before.

Fine for me right now. I noticed you're in Michigan, and using a school network. There's not even a hint of any news release yet, but this thread (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=60085) indicates there could be something going on behind the scenes out here...

make sure you use www.usfirst.org and not just usfirst.org.

I don't understand what you mean. There is a DNS record for www.usfirst.org (it resolves to IP address 155.212.10.234). That's why http://www.usfirst.org/ works.

It is just http://usfirst.org/ (without the WWW) that doesn't work. They need a DNS record for without the www. (like most other websites out there). Note, Firefox is a smart browser and will resolve it anyway, but it takes longer and IE (6. idk about 7) does not.

If IE6 doesn't work, and 7 was made under Micro$oft also, do you really think it would? :p No, it doesn't resolve it. Firefox is smart enough to try it every which way before sending you to the Google results page. It bugs me left and right that they don't redirect usfirst.org, though. I'm sure it would generate enough hits that it'd be worth it.
