What does SSC mean? (Re: FIRST Website)

What on earth (or beyond for that matter) does SSC stand for? :confused:

Just found this today randomly & found it to be kind of odd.
I'm sure it has to do with a business title (ie: LLC, TM, (C), (R), etc. etc...) but I can't find anything telling me what SSC would mean in that definition.

My conspiracy theory mind (FRC clue driven of course) found out that Stennis Space Center (with the nickname SSC) located in Mississippi sponsors 2 FIRST teams & hosts an FLL tournament, but that's just a random link I'm guessing.

I'm almost positive that it means Stennis Space Center. If you search the FIRST site for SSC I get an email address that has a domain of "ssc.nasa.gov". But I'm not totally sure.

I saw that too, but that would still make me ask why the SSC on the header of the main page?? :eek:
idk. I was kinda hoping someone would tell me it was a business title, or a forgotten computer code left in by accident of some kind I guess. :confused:

I just found something that pertains to light and laser beams
Define:SSC (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=define%3ASSC&btnG=Search) Look at the 5th definition down. Possibly IR Beams?!
