(Come now, all these hints from the GDC and you think I wouldn't take aim at at least one of 'em this week? ;))
As always, the deadline is Saturday at midnight EST, though I'm sure most of you will get entries in early to focus your sanity on something more pressing this week.
Go!
GAME HINT!!!
Looks like Dave is revealing part of the 2009 game decades early. Future FIRSTers are still trying to figure out whether the skateboard is a game object or part of a robot.
[not part of entry]C'mon, it's Dave! What else would I say?:D[/not part of entry]
Wayne Doenges

Last thing heard from Dave: "Hey ya'll, watch this"
Richard Wallace

Hmmm ... I bet this would be even more fun on Mars!

When dealing with Dave's clues, you don't necessarily have to think on your feet but you do have to try to balance the outrageous efforts to impress everyone with being absolutely spot on.
When you look at them from this angle, the clues all make PERFECT sense!!!

"I call this one.... 1/3rd the gravity of Earth! ...What do you mean that's a crummy name for a stunt?"

A really unusual position for the driver but it works! Now how do I hit the emergency stop button if I have to?!?

An [Unnamed Mentor] captured on film an instant before the robot debugging session went horribly wrong.

A friend of Dave's bet him that he couldn't do a hand stand on a moving skateboard.
After Dave left, his friend picked up all the loose change that fell out of Dave's pants pockets.
When Dave heard about the theft he vowed never again would he loose his change.
Thus, Velcro was invented.
For his next trick, this vet will hurdle a FIRST tetra.
Travis Hoffman

And Dave Lavery has just completed his final run at the 2007 X-Games freestyle skateboard event in the Geriatric Division. Dave needs 1000 points out of a possible 1200 to win.
Waiting for the judges' scores.....

Young Dave moments before an epic face plant.
While recovering from a third degree concussion, he saw visions of
robots,
...and balls,
...and inflatible tubes,
...and tetras....
The rest is FIRST history.

"Skateboarder, rocket scientist, same thing really. It's not like anybody can understand them either way. 'Did you see that wicked ill boneless followed by a launch vector of 45º and accelerating at 10 ft/s² to minimize the drag coefficient and landing with that sick manual?' It's all greek to me."
