Global news tonight

Just you let you know I was at the FIRST 2008 kick-off in Toronto at the Ontario science centre today and if all goes well there will be coverage on Global news at 6pm.

The video is also at the Weather Network and could eventually get on air with an environmental angle, I just can't say when because the show is so full with stuff on the ten year anniversary of the ice storm.

Looks good for Global though, the producer says he wants to put it in his show...of course in news nothing is for sure until it actually goes to air.

I like this years game by the way, Aim high was my favorite but this one looks good.

2008 GTR regionals should be on Global national at 5:30 tonight and global local at 6pm, I'm the camera guy who just shot the vis and just ingesting it all into the server now and the reporter is shot listing it now........

Hopefully I'll be able to get some of the competition on Friday on the air as well.....as a follow up to today's story.

Did anyone save this to video? I liked the bit they did in 2007. Needless to say most teams don't have time to turn on the TV during competition weekend.

If you really want the copy that was "on air" I will try and go in the station early in the morning when it's not busy and see if i can find it in the air checks and burn a DVD....not 100% sure if I can but I can try.
