Beleive me, there's more to come... Much more...
I'm not sure how big it is. I just put "catapult" into Google Images and it popped up. I think it's a small model.

Hmmmm, MARS had a pretty good catapult-esque robot in 2k6, I wouldn't be surprised if they did it again.
I believe that a catapult could easyly damage other robots....
not very gracious or professional, not to mention incurring of the 10 point penalty for intentionally damaging another robot....

How did I know that when M.A.R.S. see the game, they will think about a catapult; not to mention they were the only team back in 2006 to build a successful catapult to shoot the poofballs.

Only from falling trackballs, really, which teams should be expecting to hit them from time to time.

Make your robot robust and you don't have to worry about it. It's only 7.4 lbs that's dropping on top your robot.
Good point, but it could get a little chaotic with more than one launcher bot at a time...
not that chaotic is bad....
sorry if i was a little sharp...

Hey, a mangonel! My favorite catapult. I built on of those about 5 years ago, could lob water balloons a good 50 yards. Good times.
