Fellow FIRSTers,

How would you get a sliding motion in the forklift segment attachments?

I was playing with that one track slider thing in the kit but that didn't seem too reliable. How would you achieve such a sliding motion reliably?

How would you use rollers (such as the pink ones found here link (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/media/photos/29578)) to do it?

thanks, Vivek.

thanks, Vivek. When 330 uses a lift, they like to use aluminum C-channel with delrin rollers attached to blocks, secured inside the ends. The roller at the top of one segment is placed so that the block it attaches to is a hard stop for the roller at the bottom of the next one over.

Eric,

I am having a hard time visualizing that. Is there any chance you could make me a sketch or something? That would be great.

thanks, Vivek
