Cool.

Just thought you'd make four more for awesomeness?!! :D Or is there a practice bot in the works...;)

Looks like something I made recently for team 100, but out of aluminum instead of polished redwood…

There is a practice bot. Not in the works, but being made.

These are a very functional piece of both the practice bot and the competition bot.

That seems like wasted weight.

Edit: Are they just being used as decoration or are they useful?

Also, doing kind things for people only give them opportunity's to log into your account and post.

Possibly counter weights for your robot. Help to lower and center the CG?

frame support? Between upper and lower levels of kitbot or your frame?

Cheese grater? (just sharpen those edges up a bit...)

Nope. The edges are actually quite dull now, and the piece has been polished.

frame support? Between upper and lower levels of kitbot or your frame?

Nope. It's technically a support, but not of the frame.

Edit: I should be nice. I'm a drive train guy. Have fun. :D

I'm betting these are plates for your custom-made gearboxes.

GOSH I knew it...You guys are so evil!!! Anyways that is some pretty sweet detail to add to the robot. We're thinking about cnc'ing our numbers into the chassis or shooter

Nah, not aluminum. That's what lead bricks are for.

Anyway I know what these do now. Did you do them on the manual instead of the Taig? In the plates I saw at your shop, it looks like some of the lines in '114' went sliiightly over.... :P

Yep, these aren't counterweights. They were profiled, squared and drilled on the Taig, but the 114's were hand done by Jay on the Manual.
