Californai Forest Fires Financial Help!

This past year many people in Southern California were effected by forest fires, then as a result now land slides. We would like to help them out. Therefore we have started a fund that will be distributed by other FIRST teams. Please check out the website and see if you can help out. A little can go a long way.

I think I remember someone else on your team (could have been another team, mind you) posting this a month or two ago. I still see nothing to confirm or deny that the money will be used as intended, I see no project plan, I see no guarantees that actual FIRST teams will be able to make use of the money in a meaningful way, and I think just handing money to an FRC team to "distribute the funds to FIRST team members, members of their communities, or to organizations like the Red Cross" is just a bad idea.

If you want to promote donating to the Red Cross, that's a valiant thing to do. Otherwise, I think you need more of a business plan in order to get people to really take this seriously.
