Thanks! 1212 will try and make it - we say that every year and most of the time we never can. I like how this one is later in the day though! So hopefully we can make it!

We're interested in going, but some things have to happen...including setting up a school field trip...so we're a "maybe" right now. I'll see what it will take to get things set up.

Hi everyone,
On our website we have added more info on the Duel. We have added a sign up form to let us know who is attending as well as a place to sign up if you would like to lend a hand with the Duel.
We have added this information to keep everyone updated on the info for the Duel as well as to help us plan for how many teams/people etc.
We would appreciate if you could drop by our website and sign up.
Thanks for helping to make this a great time!

Due to scheduling of the building we will have to have the DUEL start around 2pm and go until about 6:00 or 7:00pm.
We cannot get in to set up before 1pm.
Please make notes of the times.

Sorry to be nitpicky, but do you mean a 'Duel in the Desert'? Or is Dual an acronym?

Sorry all for the brain cramp on the spelling.
Yes someone was being nitpickly and they are right.
Sorry I guess I've pulled too many all nighters trying to get our new team up and running.
I'll correct it where I can.

What my esteemed colleague really means here is that we have 1/2 of an overpass assembly that we could bring. It's a complete overpass for either a blue or a red finish line (but not both). We built it to practice track-ball removal, hurdling, and placement.
Big thank you to Jag Robotics for hosting the duel!
Pretty awesome day and some sick robots

Thanks to everyone who came out! Yes, it was a good day. It is always cool to see a preview of everyone’s robots before Arizona.
I didn't get to see as much as I wanted to.. being chained to the food table serving, but I liked all the bots I did get to see...great job everyone! :)
Thanks to our sister teams team 1013 for the carpet and team 39 for one of the overpasses and the permieter.
Thank you for hosting 2380! This was a great event and it's good to see alot of teams taking advantage of the time to meet everyone before the regional and see an actual field. With a nice mix of rookies and veterans I think this gave a taste of what to expect at AZ this year (though of course everyone will be fully working and have a bit more driving time under their belts by then).
I have somewhere around 80 pictures from the event, they should be up hopefully well before the regional.

Many thanks to Team 2380 for hosting. Team 2449 appreciated the opportunity to practice, troubleshoot, and feed our faces!
There were plenty of great bots and Teams at the event. We are looking forward to seeing most/all of you again at the AZ regionals.

A team left a battery charger and battery on the stage at the Duel yesterday. Contact us if it is yours. There are no team numbers on it.
We can arrange for your to get it, or we can bring it to Arizona.
Team 498 has a bunch of footage from the duel in our vid here (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=64401)
Thanks again for hosting the duel
