Indoor-Outdoor carpet?

How did everyone else get indoor-outdoor carpet for their practice field? Our team can't find anyone who's donating, nor can we get any carpet for a decent price, so we'd like to find out how the rest of the teams got their carpet.

We practice in our school's media center which has the same carpet as the playing field.

At the end of a regional (at least the ones I've been to) they give away the carpet to whoever has the capacity to take it home.

well... get industrial carpet.... from lowes or the home depot or even other stores around town... and make sure to take the robot ..... that worked out for us when getting some parts donated.

sigh - We washed cars until we made enough to buy some.
At the end of a regional (at least the ones I've been to) they give away the carpet to whoever has the capacity to take it home.Usually at the last regional in an area. Inquire through your FIRST senior mentor for that - but remember, you have to get it home! A single roll of carpet weighs about 350-400 pounds, is 15 feet wide (long) and maybe 3+ feet in diameter - not for roof racks!
