Nice job guys, especially since I see you've got your hybrid working.

Very nice, and glad to see you practicing on carpet.
That second video made me laugh out loud: A huge room with a small cardboard box in it, and the robot hits the box...
Was that hybrid, or driver-controlled?
that was driver controlled, we had the joysticks backwards (facing away from you) as we where trying to drive the robot backwards. That tends to get a little confusing.

Are you using the new AndyMArk wheels?
If so, how was the traction?
The new ones do not seem to be as tacky as last years.

The new AndyMark wheels have really good traction on carpet. If you try them on tile floor they slip some

really fast! i'm in burlington too! i run an FTC team, need a vex demo? :D
BTW, do any of you know my twin brothers the horsmans? they go to m.m.
No, no fancy sensors here... not yet anyways ;)
I will have to get some pictures, but if you look closely at the very end of the second video, you can see some little details, like the 6 Cat5e connectors ?!?
Yes we are using the new KOP wheels, and so far I can't say if they are slicker then last year or not... not enough driving time to wear them in yet.
But the Omni's sure are sticky, and bite very well.
Tomorrow we are doing some testing of 1 joystick drive configuration.

That is one fast robot...
By the way, are you working with Omni's on front and KOP wheels on back? I could not quite make it out. If you can control that thing, you will probably be a force to be reckoned with at Waterloo. Good luck!
