Cool design for an Omni drive. Have you done any programming for it yet?

Looks good. Check your bumpers - there was a post in Q&A just yesterday I believe that prohibits mitered pool noodles into the corners, even if the wood doesn't extend into the corners.

Yes there is programming for the prototype that is setup the same. And can you tell us where you found that information for the bumper?
very cool, I am assuming the electronics are mounted above this piece?? if not thats a pretty tight squeeze lol!
looks sweet though!!

Can you get it to go in all directions? If you need help, let me know. I worked with an omni drive vex robot over the summer.

If you're interested....see video below.
In the video our robot is only doing a third of what it's capable of. The first half is on ceramic tile and then the second half shows the capabilities on carpet. Our programmer estimates the top speed to reach 15ft/s.

click on our website link and then go to 2008 competition and watch the video from there. If it doesn't come up you have to run activex control to see (we have to here).

Actually the direct link was just entered improperly. If you do want to directly download and view the file, try this one:

Otherwise you can go their website as described above to view it embedded in the page.
