View Full Version : How to wire solenoid valves????????
Yeah, I'm new to the whole pneumatics thing, does anyone know how to wire the solenoid valves for the pneumatic system? Like do you need a spike in order to hook up the solenoid???

Yes, you need a spike controlled via an RC Relay port.
The solenoid connects to the Spike M+/M- terminals.
A single-action solenoid connects the red wire to M+ and the black wire to M-.
A double-action solenoid (two sets of wires) connects one red to M+, the other red to M-, and both black ground wires to the ground on a fuse block or other appropriate ground connection.

the easiest solution I have used is just to connect the black wires to the V- input on the same spike.
