Is polycarbonate allowed for mounting electronics . Some people told me that it is not legal to use polycarbonate on the robot. Can we use it for body protection.
Not only it is allowed, it's also what I recommend to the rookie teams we mentor - if it's too expensive for you, find something else that does not conduct electricity. Our electronics have been mounted on polycarbonate panels every year since 2001.

I don't know who gave you that information, but polycarbonate is definitely legal (as long as you're within the pricing rules). Many teams use it for protection, structural parts and everything in between.

I would recommend it.
