What does it do, I don't see a manipulator which defeats the purpose of the tower, unless thats some sort of ball popper. Please enlighten me:)

You probably want to have your drive chains connect to the gearbox output sprockets on more than just the top. There's a huge chance of your chains slipping with the configuration you have now.
