Could you get the OTHER ball? I think we've got one ball handled. I'll get it down during Hybrid, so the operators can play. :p
Our mechanism to K.O (Knock off) is pretty decent, I wish quicker but i'm still content. We'll get a video link up as soon as my mentor uploads it.
We've got loads more new of fun things to show the CD community, and maybe 975 Synergy can comment on some too :-) We took some pictures and lots of video, while practicing with them and 1086 today! We'll show you a fun clip called, "Catch!" tommorow :D

My jaw dropped as much or more than from the 121 video... wow. Very nice, extremely elegant, wow. Great work 384! If it keeps working this well I expect to see it on Einstein :D
I digg your field too, you're very lucky to have all that room!

I saw you guys at the scrimmage on Saturday and my jaw literally dropped. Good job! It's a beauty!
Indeed it's a nice robot. We'll have some nice competition at VCU this year!
Your biggest weakness looks like it may be capturing a randomly kinetic ball. Good teamwork can fix that.

Sparky and Cheese are good looking robots that are going to go far this year, no doubt. Too bad we didn't see 540 at the scrimmage. I can't wait to see everyone at VCU in 3 weeks.
hey Rameez I know it has been shiped and all but is there anyway you get some pics up
Thanks
ps sry bout the previous 540 comment we will see what happens at VCU

540, 384, and 1086, hurtful comments are not necessary. Please conduct yourselves with gracious professionalism.
Impressive design.
I will try to show these videos to our team for ideas for next year.

Hey guys I love robotics. The previous comment was made just to cheer up all the teams and get excited about Regionals.

Yeah, I've been AFK for a few days trying to get some important executive details ironed out. We've been taking some great video, and pictures, and I'll have them up by 7pm tonight :]
Don't worry about the comment. I've experienced enough slander from other parties, in multiple other occasions, to know that it's best to just keep it proffessional no matter how personal it gets. I hope they assume the real spirit of FIRST when VCU comes around :]
I know I can't wait 'till the regional! How 'bout you! It's gonna be much fun, and my final year as a student.. I'm just going to try to have the most fun as possible (Science Museum, Engineering Center, competition!) and show the rookies what the Spirit of FIRST really is.
thats sounds bout right on the fun levels at the last regional
hey heard sparky and cheese might be going to champs this year that should be fun
and I agree bout the profesional level that why I comented on the coment

I still think sparky's 2 and 4 were my favorites....
2 b/c it was a beast and did very well....(and I got to work on that one)
and 4 b/c it was very competitive!
I hope to work with you guys this year! (and Cheese as well!!)

Who *didn't* like 4? That thing had it's own personality!
I also love 7 a bunch too (AIM High year).
Sparky 7 is a personal favorite of mine. Especially the version we ran in Atlanta. Good times.

My personal favorite Sparky machine was Sparky 6.0. That was a very simple and effective solution to the game. Sparky 9 looks like it might become my new favorite though. I think I'll get "matchitis" if we ever have to play against each other at VCU or champs; that ball flying straight at you has gotta be a pretty scary sight.

I noticed on the webcast that you guys had made heavy modfications for Champs. Was that to make it harder to block your shots?

It was to make it harder to block shots and shoot faster. At VCU we were shooting off about 5 ball during the whole auto mode, but at champs we were hitting all 10.

Don't forget about the wicked under spin that you got that bascially tossed the ball outta the goal once they got in, with the Champs modifications it had an overspin that instead of sending it up and out, sent it down and in.
