the piece of metal that comes free with the bimba actuators..
i believe its called the m magnet.
what exactly does it do and how do you hook it up?

Does it have wires coming out of it?
Then you might be referring to the reed switch. It can detect when the piston gets to wherever you put it on the outside of the cylinder and tell the Robot Controller.

oh yes, reed. so it can tell the controller if its at a certain point, however wont stop it i guess.
