How to make a .lib?

We are using MPLAB for programming the robot.

I have been wondering how to build a .lib for linking. We have some code that we hardly ever change that we would like to incorporate into a .lib for convenience.

I haven't been able to work out how to use mplab to do this.

Any help or pointers to documentation would be great.

MPLIB does that for you,
Read up on it in the MPASM_&_MPLINK.pdf that came in the Manuals folder on the CBOT CD that came in the KOP.
