Team 1991, The Dragons, are thrilled to announce that we are hosting a social on Friday night for the Connecticut regional, called "The Fireball"!

The event is being held at the American School for the Deaf, located only 12 minutes away from the convention center. The cost is $12 per person, and includes a "Deli Dinner", DDR, Trackball Soccer, a Xbox Halo tournament, and of course an open dance floor (I'm really excited about our DJ!)

And of course, you can hang out with whytheheckme from CD for 4 WHOLE HOURS!

The event is Friday (March 14th) night, from 7-11pm. Again, dinner is included in the price of admission.

For a registration form, you can click here:

And for directions:

We are REALLY excited to be hosting this event. Students, PLEASE bug your lead mentors about attending this event. It's going to be a BLAST! :D

See you at the Connecticut Regional!

I'm actually staying locally at the Hotel next to the convention center, so maybe this year I will finally get a chance to swing by.

Is pre-registration the only option, or can we register the day of, or Thursday of the regional??

Just wondering.

Hope to play some DDR with some folks that night!
I'll have to start practicing again now, since it's been almost a year since I've played I think. :ahh:

...for the UTC regional...
See you at UTC!

Um... the competition is now known as the Connecticut Regional... just so we don't confuse anyone!

Because we have to order food ahead of time, we will have a VERY LIMITED number of slots open for teams/people to sign up for on Thursday. This is just for teams that potentially didn't know about the event ahead of time. If you think you might be coming, sign up, and the worst case scenario is that you wind up donating $12 to our team.

I'm sorry Kathie, I forgot. Perhaps a mod can rename the thread. Thanks for the correction.

Sign up soon!!

Just a word to interested teams:

We have a capacity of about 500 - so get your registrations in early!

Students - let your team leaders know about the event - so they can plan accordingly.

Good luck to everyone in Hartford!

Our team is still trying to figure out how many people want to go/if this will be a "team" activity for Friday night. Is there still room to register?
