It doesn't appear that this is available yet on FIRST's site and I didn't see it anywhere else, so in case anyone is interested here's the qualification match list for Midwest.

Thank you Dave. I will be down there on Saturday to watch and am looking forward to seeing you guys run. Good luck!

Do you know if match listings will be available to all regionals the day or night before?

thank you very much! Now I know when to watch the webcast (as I will be busy tomorrow and not able to watch everything)

Is this a new thing where the qualifying match list is up the day before? I always thought this wasn't provided until the 1st day of qualifying matches.

Yes. They're making them available practice day now, in the afternoon after everyone has registered.

Thanks, Dave.

This just saved me a very long phone call with my son (Team 16 driver). Needless to say, I'm very interested in matches 37 and 61... good luck (especially in match 61;) )!

they should update the manual section 9.3.1 then

I think that match 56 should provide a pretty high score with 1625 and 1114 on the same alliance.

You're right, they missed that. See Team update 7 and the subsequent modification to 3.6.2.1 Match lists for the second and third day of competition will be available on the
afternoon of practice day. The FTA will determine what time these lists will be
generated and distributed. The Pit Administration Supervisor will manage the
distribution process. This list includes both days of matches and provides
information as to when teams will participate, with whom, and against whom. The
list is final and the schedule will not be altered.

I also noticed the pairing algorithm is definitely changed (I think they told us this at some point). Last year, two low number teams were never paired together and rookies also were never paired. But looking at the lists, I see several instances of those scenarios. Cool.

For anybody who missed it, here's more information about the scheduling algorithm being used this year:

oh boy we get to face wildstang 3 straight matches in a row

Just glancing through the schedule I see Wildstang plays against 1625 3 times. I thought the algorithm was supposed to fix that. I also saw 1625 plays 1114. They have a tough schedule.

EDIT: Aren saw it just before me, and by the way good luck

The algorithm is the same as last year, it is a code that takes the teams and does it by numbers. It happens at every regional, its embedded into the code and with the one they are using it is guaranteed to happen.

This is not true, the algorithm used this year is not the same as the one used last year. As mentioned by jgannon a few posts up the algorithm in use this year is detailed here (http://www.idleloop.com/matchmaker/).

Better 3 times than 8 or 9 like we saw last year. Should be some great matches though, I'll be sure to catch some of the webcast if I can!

I will be bold and say that the high score of this event will come from match 56 where 1625 and 1114 are together.

Yes, as I for one am interested in finding out how long our grippers will last in any of our matches without spontaneously falling apart. Catch the action! Feel the excitement!

I saw that going down the list, had the same thought.....

and then i got to match 70 (33, 1024, 1625).......... now, I'm torn as to which will score higher.

I gotta say, 1625 can't complain about having 111 against them 3 times and 71 once; They've got some strong partners in the rest.

Yeah, Today is the fun part with us,

We are against the Beast,
Then with the Beast and against 1024,
Then against Wildstang 3 times in a row,
The end of today and tomorrow we only get the good guys on our side.

Should be fun!

go out there and WIN, so resiliency, forget about the schedule and work to WIN the match, remember this is a offensive showdown, it's a shootout

for teams like you, i actually feel sad that there is no decent way to play defense this year
