Hey everyone, My team fried our IR Board and we would like to know where we could buy a new one.

You will be hard pressed to find a new one, but next time it would help to search before you ask.

Hey everyone, My team fried our IR Board and we would like to know where we could buy a new one. IR boards *used* to be available at the FIRST Store through the IFIrobotics web site, but are now all sold out. (See http://www.ifirobotics.com/first-store.shtml )

An alternative would be to make your own IR receiver, as described in the New Infrared Remote Control Software (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=65065) thread.

Do you know what fried? If the voltage regulator fried (due to reversing the voltage) you should be able to replace it with a part from radio shack.

If the program got corrupted (see team update 10), it can be reprogrammed at the regional.

Don't give up hope yet.
