Hey all,

I was just wondering if anyone knew of the highest amount of repeat wins for 2 teams being on the same alliance in a few regionals (Not necessarily in the same year).

Thanks so much for the help,
-dandon

I believe 25 and 103 have won New Jersey together for the third or fourth year in a row this year.

I think it was in either 04 or 05 on Einstein that Dave mentioned one of the Division Champs was paired up before to win a regional. Not just two teams, but all three teams on the alliance. A regional win and a divisional win isn't too shabby if you ask me.

That was '04, with 67, 340, and 1126 who pairing up in both Buckeye and Newton.

We won with the cheesy poofs in 2001 and 2002, of course, they carried our alliance in SVR. We also were finalists against them in 2000 and 2003. We almost had a third alliance with them in vegas last year. We got picked one too early that time. They won the regional eventually.
They also mentored us and brought their robot to Hawaii in 1999, introducing us to FIRST. :)

I almost forgot about the 254 and 60 alliance. They were the deadliest back in the day! Still remember team 60's 2000 net scooping bot. Just simply sick!!!!!!

as previously mentioned, 217 and 469 were both winning alliance partners in 2006 and 2008, very well could have been in 2007 but forgiveness has been given... in both 2007 and 2008 the RoboWranglers (148) was the number one seed and in both years they picked 217... if you count when JVN was with Division by Zero then the Chickens were paired up 2006 in Toronto. I just have to say that Paul and John make an excellent coaching team, they inspire and motivate their drive teams through epic speeches and threatening push-ups to those who incur penalties. :D

1114 and 2056 have just won the 2008 Waterloo Regional together.

Yep, 2056 has won EVERY SINGLE regional they've competed in. Every single time they've done it, they did it with 1114 by their side. Waterloo '07, GTR '07, and now Waterloo '08. I think thats the first time its happened at a Canadian Regional.

Also, I'm pretty sure 2056 was #1 seed at 2 out of the 3 regionals they won at. (07 GTR, 08 WAT).
