For those of you not going to the aquarium, Friday (www.ticketmaster.com/cgi/outsider.plx?CAMEFROM=MLBBRAVES-SCHEDULE&GOTO=http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/0E004052C784AB79/&brand=none', 'home'));) night at 7:30, the Braves are playing the Los Angeles Dodgers. They also play the Dodgers on Saturday afternoon (not a good time) and Sunday (www.ticketmaster.com/cgi/outsider.plx?CAMEFROM=MLBBRAVES-SCHEDULE&GOTO=http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/0E004052C8CCAED8/&brand=none', 'home'));") afternoon at 1:35 for those of you hanging around Atlanta until Monday.

Many "First" people have attended the games over the past 4 years. I would suggest reasonably ($12-$16) priced tickets in upper sections 402-416 (great view) but try to get row 10 or lower. The afternoon / evening sun will not be in your eyes on this side of the stadium. The Dodgers series are the Braves next home games so I would purchase your tickets asap.

Also, there are "all you can eat sections (http://atlanta.braves.mlb.com/atl/ticketing/ayce.jsp)" priced from $30-$70.

Turner Field was home to the 1996 Olympic track & field, opening & closing ceremonies and and is a great place to watch a ballgame.

While the Marta rail service does not go to Turner Field, you can ride the train to Five Points and transfer to the Braves Shuttle Bus (http://www.itsmarta.com/getthere/braves.htm).
Here (http://www.mapquest.com/maps/CNN+Center:Atlanta+GA/turner+field:Atlanta+GA/#a/maps/l:CNN+Ctr:190+Marietta+St+NW:Atlanta:GA:30303:US:3 3.758003:-84.3936:address:/l:Turner+Field:755+Hank+Aaron+Dr+SW:Atlanta:GA:303 15:US:33.735599:-84.38787:address:/m::11:33.746802:-84.390639:0::/io:1:::::f:EN:m:/e) are some basic directions from CNN Center to Turner Field by Mapquest.

That's where we will be! All 21 of us!
We've been to the aquarium before last summer. To tell you the truth, it was so-so. Other than the shark exhibit, I thought it was quite small for an aquarium.

When you live on an island, just about any aquarium is too small. ;)

A couple of years ago our whole team got John Smoltz's suite. It was a absolute great time. One of the teachers grew up with him and was able to get the tickets. The food was excellent. I can still taste the pretzel plater with all of the different flavors. To be able to go with the whole team, in a relaxed environment, amongst friends, was great time. It really relieved the stress of the Championships.

A couple of our team members (especially one extreme dodgers fan) want to go to the Friday night game, we'll prolly decide at our meeting on tuesday. Hopefully see some of you there!

The TechnoKats have voted to visit the aquarium this year. I don't know whether Andy plans to skip it and do his own thing, but he already told us he won't be organizing a multiple-team Braves game trip again.

Is the aquarium open Friday night? The VIP dinner is there on Friday.
