Donate a team shirt at

Team 234 - Cyber Blue - Galileo
or)
Team 45 - TechnoKats - Curie

for the 2008 IRI Quilt

A quilt will be handmade from the team shirts and then auctioned as part of the IRI Charity Auction - all proceeds go to Youth / Family oriented charities.

There should be some sort of "drop box" a each location.

Thanks for your donation!

(The last 3 quilts have brought in about $500 each!) - :)

If you are not going to Atlanta and still want to donate -
you can mail / ship it to:

Adding one more thing to my packing list- a 1923 shirt for the quilt!

The quilts always come out fantastic, and it's great to see that money go to charity.

Foley Freeze(910) will be in atlanta only in spirit this year. We needed one of those regional tickets. So unless one of our shirts can catch a ride down to atlanta, we will have to mail it. With that in mind, how about an address for us poor souls stuck at home?

I think I can get a picture of at least one of them.
My wife was highest bidder 2 years ago
(I will just say it is a very expensive blanket.. :) - but for a great cause!)

Amanda Morrison has one (hint, hint for a photo) -
She convinced JVN to bid just higher and higher....

edit: Picture attached. This is one side of the 2006 quilt.
it is 5 shirts x 6 shirts, for 30 per side, for a total of 60 different team shirts.

Hi Chris-

We were in Atlanta but didn't get the note until the last day and after the finals went to find you guys and everyone was packed up and gone. We will be mailing you a shirt tomorrow in hopes that it can still make it into the quiilt. Thanks for getting this done. It is such a great cause!

Sincerely,
TEAM 1625 Winnovation

I forgot to drop a shirt off... so I still have a ton of ours! How can I get it to you?

It's funny... my "twin" is on Cyberblue and somehow it still slipped my mind with all the excitement.

Is it too late to send?

when the quilt is done you should do a GigaPixel photo of each side!

so people can zoom in on specific shirts.... :)

p.s. google the GigaPixel project if you do not know what i'm talking about...

for those of you who have not met the FIRST twins,

Zara from 1676 and Megan from 234 could be sisters or wins.
The looks, the talk, the personalities, even their activities on their teams.

Pretty cool and i am glad i have met both of them.
