What surprises or important announcements will we see/hear during the Championship award ceremony?

I think some new regionals will be announce for 2009 and a little clue for the 2009 game.

We'll probably see a big announcement of the previously mentioned New Zealand regional. I wouldn't be too suprised to see a regional in Puerto Rico or even Mexico.

Maybe they will have another, more successful, demonstration of the new FRC and FTC kits.

I had understood that chesapeake had some issues and "almost didn't happen". I'm curious as to whether or not this is a replacement or addition (or in another part of the country)

3 new regionals- New Zealand, Washington, D.C. and one other. No homework given, no clues for next year's game that I noticed.

Homework WAS given, it was to create some sort of video similiar the Presidents Circle assignment last year.

The third new regional is in Dallas. Teams in that area keep an eye out and pray/hope that it doesn't conflict with the Lone Star Regional or Oklahoma Regional, and hopefully not with Bayou either!
