Well first off ive searched and its all scattered so heres what im looking for. First soundtrack. So if you know of any specific song (with the artist) played at the competition including award ceremonies please reply.
Ive also been wondering why FIRST doesnt produce DVDs of the championship. Ive been to many camps and events where you can order a DVD and it comes a month or two later. It wouldnt be hard since they have a lot of the equipment and im sure most people would love to see different fun footage of all activities going on. Just highlights of everything would be great. Im not talking about long award scenes, but more of something like a really long music video with a secondary photo album on the disc.

In the past, FIRST has put out lists of their "official music" but I couldn't find such a list this year. If anyone knows of one, please post.
I will also agree that FIRST needs to do a better job of making match archives available to teams (even if it is at cost). It's not just the Championships either, they record all of the events, so it shouldn't be an issue, but somehow 90% of the archives never made available. :(

FIRST has never released any sort of lists of music for public consumption. What have appeared have been lists meant for the DJs at events to outline acceptable songs for an event. Those lists are not complete, by any means -- or even accurate. They're atrocious, actually.
Also, to my knowledge, FIRST does not record any of its feeds. Teams do record them as a service to the community, however, and make that data available as quickly as possible.

im not really talking about match archives though. Im talking about highlights. Like they do after a superbowl. Obviously it would be long, but would be cool to mix in pictures and music and funny anouncements.
Heres an example:
on Newton 192 tipped over in our home zone and then 692 (FULLY EXTENDED WITH A BALL TIPPED OVER OUTSIDE THE ARENA IN OUR HOMEZONE) and we went right through both and fired.
Those are cool moments that would impress everyone and eveyone has those cool moments.
Again please post any song titles you recognized at the event

Ahh, yes, that was what I found before, thank you for clarifying. :)

Hmm, well I guess this brings the question, with all the video equipment they have set up at events (and plugins for teams to use) why doesn't FIRST record the events? In the long run it doesn't seem like a huge expense, just have a DVD recorder and someone to occasionally change out the DVDs. They could probably also make a bit of profit just by selling the archives to teams that want them.

It makes no sense for FIRST not to offer a sound & a highlight DVD.
Personally I'd rather have just a highlight version of the regionals.

Keep Holding on By Avril Lavigne was played during awards.
What if teams coordinate together to create a highlight video? If you had 4 people for the fields and around 4 for the pits, you could get video of the matches and the pits and put it together in a highlight video that could incorporate all the teams.

Smash Mouth - Allstar
Ben Lee - Catch My Disease
I've heard those during award ceremonies.

Several years ago, FIRST sent out an e-mail asking teams if they wanted one. They said if there was enough demand they would do it. Obviously there wasn't enough demand.
