Nah, it's a gathering of people who like to play games on their computers. They bring their computers, usually.

Our team is in process of planning one, hoping it will be a successful fundraiser.

Sounds really neat. I personally wouldn't last long in any of these competitions cause I don't seem to play many video games very well.

I hope it goes well for you guys. It sounds like it should get a really good crowd.

We can give you a place to sleep! :)

Even if you're no good at video games feel free to come and just play for fun, or watch! We'll probably have 1 or 2 of our robots on display and set up for playing with.

we are going to try this at some point and i have a question for you: how are you going to get power to all the systems? We are talking about some serious juice aren't we?

Is CS the only PC game? How about a REAL (http://www.unrealtournament3.com/) PC game?

I would seriously consider this if there was a wider selection of PC games. Is this BYOC?

I'm not interested in most of those games. However if someone in Indiana was to have a Brawl tournament, I would definitely be interested.

What? No Team Fortress 2 Tournament?

Heh, just kidding, it would be a bit of a drive for me anyways. If only someone were hosting a similar event in Michigan...

Well, I bet people can play whatever they want, but 1058 will be hosting those four tournaments.

Exactly. We're going to have some servers set up with a bunch of other games. You're welcome to play anything you want pretty much, the games mentioned are just the tournament games.

As far as power goes we're hosting it In an industrial building with 3 phase power and a bunch of step down and breakout boxes. Power won't be an issue :)

Kinda late, lol, but do you guys still have space left? You didn't give any contact info at your LAn website.
