This diploma right here…
gives me access to a whole new world:

- a place where I can explore options, develop my humor, apply Murphy’s Law,
- a place where I can log and blog my thoughts as I travel the rails of adventure toward new places,
- a place where I can become a role model, a hero, a friend,
- a place some dream of but I will live.

It is the first diploma but it won’t be the last and it is a great start.
This isn’t just any piece of paper, it’s a ticket to the FIRST world and beyond.

Wow. 200 contests, 4 years of college, and now you're graduating. Out in the big, scary world. Kinda exciting, really. I remember when I graduated college - never thought it would happen - and my first real job, and so on.

I'd wish you good luck, but I know you, and your abilities seem to transcend luck. So, I just wish you Godspeed, Mr. Leverette.

Billfred's college superficial: Winner of the "What the heck happened these past four years?!?!" Award.

This came from the passport picture contest we had on the bus up to Canada- suffice it to say, we were good-naturedly cruel to each other.

When the prestigious Southern Underachievers' Community College couldn't find anyone from within their ranks to model as a graduating student for their promotional literature - it turns out no one had ever graduated from SUCC, go figure - they found their poster child across the street at USC, where Billfred readily volunteered, cheesy pose at the ready.

Billfred was eternally grateful for the $20 the photo gig paid, as it bought enough Cup O' Noodles to sustain his broke college student self for at least another month of destitute living. ;)
