I want a bag of crap (ive never gotten on before :( ). Anyway, whats great for wootoffs is a program called wootalyzer (www.wootalyzer.com). It tracksthe item currently on and can open the internet window on any item and other stuff like that.

A woot-off is a special day on woot.com, which occurs roughly once or twice a month, when they go away from their one-product-a-day system. Instead, products are sold continuously, with a new one showing up a few seconds after the previous item sells out. You can tell when a Woot-off is occuring when there are two yellow flashing lights beneath the product, and a bar showing how many are left.
Woot-offs are usually the only opportunity to purchase the coveted "Bag of Crap," AKA BOC, Bandoiller of Carrots, Blinged-out Cabbage, etc. These cost a dollar each, and contain random, usually cheap, items, but sometimes contain great deals. These usually create a mad rush to kill off woot's servers, and are usually sold out within a 30 second period.
Due to the unpredictable pace and direction of Woot-offs, "Pro" wooters often devote entire days to constantly monitering the site.

Woot is a site that offers "One deal one day" normally for technology products. They update once a day, at 12:00 Central time, so those of us on the west coast are often up till 1:00am in hopes of a "Random Crap", which is often called a BOC or Bag of Crap . (There are other brands of "Woot" wine,shirt, and sellout.) Sometimes they vary from technology products but not that often, it happens during the woot-offs sometimes for some type of nut.
Once in a while, they will create an event called a woot-off, which is where they forget their "One deal one day" slogan and offer a new deal as soon as the previous one sells out. These sales can last anywhere from 12 to 72 hours, often ending in a novelty item.
Sometimes they throw in a "BOC" which is a 1 dollar mystery item, that can range from a plastic drink bottle to very fancy flat screen TVs.

I bought a 50" DLP from Best Buy about a year ago. I wish Woot had the Olevia 60" LCD back then. 60"ers back then were like >$4000.
Last night I couldn't go to sleep because I thought... what if the BOC was the next item? The solution: take my laptop to bed with me.
... no BOC yet. I already own leak frogs.

I wish I could have found something in the past two woot-offs...I feel bad not buying any of these good deals. I am taking my lap top to class, just to possibly get another round of BOC's
The only thing I love about wootoffs other than the BoC is the wootoff song...
That song is incredibly catchy.
Other than those two things, i'm done with woot offs. The constant terrible vaccuum cleaners and that darned ROOMBA have really turned me away from this whole deal hehe.

I missed that sweet Razer Soundcard for only $50, but I don't really need it anyway. It's still a steal of a price though, which makes me a little sad.
I did get a razer (electric shaver this time, not the gaming peripherals) though. For only $30 with shipping for a Remington, how could I not?

I've attempted to view the last two woot-offs and the servers crashed the second i did so. i had a friend on the phone who refreshed his page right before i opened mine and he was still fine (the second time at least) so i haven't bothered to look at all. i don't have any monies/an account anyways >.< maybe by the next woot-off i will.
i risked it and went there.... detour'd to wine.woot less than 20 minutes ago. -_-

It's on woot.com. The site normally sells only one item per day at a cheap price, and once that item sells out, there is nothing else to buy on the site. During woot-offs (which last from 24-72 hours, and occur about once a month), they sell things one after another. Once one item sells out, they start selling the next.
ha, I asked that same question about a year ago.
From wikipedia:
Woot-Off
The site occasionally deviates from the one-product-per-day model for a "Woot-Off", where a succession of products are available for a period of unannounced length, usually 24–72 hours. This mode is indicated by rotating lights and a bar displaying the percentage of product's stock remaining. When one product sells out, it is replaced within a minute or two by a new product. The percentage bar is the only indication of how much stock remains; Woot never gives the exact quantity available until after the item has sold out.
During April Fool's Day 2008, Woot staged a Woot-Off offering the same product repeatedly, except for a few brief periods when Woot sold Random Crap instead.
Bag of Crap
In lieu of typical product sales, Woot occasionally offers a blind grab bag officially called "Random Crap". Its accompanying picture has lent it the name "Bag of Crap" (BOC). The BOC contains at least three items whose value and quality are not guaranteed, but sometimes expensive items are included. The BOC typically triggers thousands of order requests and sells out within seconds. Processing a customer's order for a BOC may take over an hour.

BOC came up right around 3:40pm on Wednesday. Everything crashed, but I refreshed the page that Wootalyzer brought up a few times and it loaded. First time that has ever worked so I was happy.
