Ref 1: Why is it easier to ref Overdrive than it is the Hokey Pokey?
Ref 2: She’s got it right – you put your whole self in, you put your whole self out, you put your whole self in and then you shake yourself about….

The right hand goes before the left hand and before the whole self.
Simple.

Ref 1: then you call it - I’m not going over there, she has her hands on her hips which means its about to get ugly. This could make all the fuss about G22 pale by comparison.

The crew is split on the Hokey Pokey decision as the audience calls for:

Ref 1: Seriously, how can anyone mess up the Chicken Dance?

Ref 2 sighs as he prepares to pull out the yellow card. "It's all the flapping - they have to get the flapping right. Half of 'em can't flap worth a flip. You'll see. Wish they'd just stick with YMCA - that's an easy one to ref. 4 letters just 4 letters."

Graham (leaning on ball): "You toucha dis ball I breaka you fingers!"

"NYC: Where the Egos Come to Volunteer"

Crew member on right: "Guys -and lady-, this is the LAST TIME I'm going to say it, you need to put the balls where the randomizer tells us to put them."
Female crew member: "And what happens if we don't?"
Crew member on right: "Well, there are at least 400 people-most of them incredibly smart teenagers- who saw the randomizer, and I imagine that they would attack you in mob form if you tampered with it, since it could possibly mess up their strategy/game."
Ref: "See, this is why we should only have one field reset team. Now they're delaying the start of the match, and WE'RE going to be the ones who are attacked"

Ref: The robots keep crashing into the big yellow 04/06/2008 during hybrid mode. I say it's a natural hazard, part of the game.

Rob: "The Randomizer says to put the blue ball there."
Christina: "It also said to put the red ball there. You can't have two objects occupy the same place at the same time."
Jose: "That's not necessarily true. I think I have a solution."
Thanks to some creative time/phase engineering both the blue ball and red ball were put into the same spot.
