I just wanted to see what everyone's favorite cartoon was growing up. I'm not talking about cartoons like South Park. I'm talking about the stuff on Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, etc.
If you need help remembering way back when, go to YouTube and look up '90's cartoons or '80's cartoons. Many people have posted all the intros to the old cartoon. And if you didn't come from the '80s or '90s, you're on your own.
As for me I'm going to have to say Dexter's Laboratory.

I loved cartoons when I was a kid (still do. I watch Cartoon Network alot, I'm not afraid to admit and not just for Adult Swim).
I loved the Disney classics, the MGM classics (Tom and Jerry, Droopy and such) Classic Warner Bothers (Bugs Bunny cartoons from the 40's to the Chuck Jones era) and classic anime like Battle of the Planets and Star Blazers.

Growing up in the 80's, things are a tad different from your "classic" cartoons. My favorites were: G.I. Joe, Transformers, He-Man and, when i lived it Hawaii, Star Blazers. I could never find Star Blazers on the main land. :(
Without a doubt, Rocky & Bullwinkle.
Best.
Cartoon.
Ever.
I also liked Wile E. Coyote, Bugs Vs. Daffy Vs. Elmer Fudd, and of course the mandatory viewing for my generation was Thundercats.

Thundercats was such a huge dissapointment.
The intro looked so cool and the cartoon was just so lame. It gave me a headache.

DBZ?!?!?!
I wanted to like that series, but good lord! It took 2 30-minute episodes for two characters for power up. The show took way to long to develop. Dexter is my Idol...
Tom and Jerry, hands down. Scooby Doo, just for kicks sometimes too.

Mighty Mouse.
I still sing it at the top of my lungs:
Here I come to save the daaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy...
I can't fly but I can make an entrance. Usually into the shower.

Rockie and Bull Winkle and all the guys from Frostbite Falls. Who could forget Sherman and Mr. Peabody and the Wayback machine, Fractured Fairy Tales and all the others? I think we are all here due to Wile E. Coyote because we figured we could build something to catch that pesky Roadrunner. Where is that Acme company when you need them? Beep Beep!!!
And who could forget Snagglepuss' "Exit, Stage left!"?
There's no need to fear, Underdog is here!
George, George, George of the jungle strong as he can be.
Just Call for Super Chicken!
Meet George Jetson, His Boy Elroy, Daughter Judy, Jane his wife.
and the best
When you're with the Flintstones you'll have a yabba dabba doo time.
A dabba doo time. You'll have a gay old time.

Animaniacs. That was my favorite when I was growing up in the 90s. So many jokes I didn't get back then.

Ahh, I almost forgot about that. Animaniacs and Pinky & the Brain were the best. I also remember a show called Histeria which used to be awesome. Wow, you really forget things from just 10 years ago. Also, the original Batman and Spiderman series were great. And not to mention X-men.
Captain Planet! .... and He-Man :D
ZOIDS later on....
The classis were the best.

Bugs is the man - er, rabbit.
Actually, just about ANYthing with Mel Blanc doing the voices. What a talent.

Really? The horror! I rooted for the bad guys, those kids were so annoying. Plus, dude's supposed to be environmentally friendly, and he looked like a reject from the toxic waste dump - with a mullet.
P.S. - Gaia was all that and a bag of chips though.
Doug, Hey Arnold, Pepper Ann, Inspector Gadget

I just watched those a few days ago! What a coincidence...
I would still watch cartoons if it didn't require waking up early on Saturday mornings? How has no one said The Teenage Mutant Ninjas Turtles yet? They rocked my grade school world.

Definitely have to go with Rocko's Modern Life. And then a little newer I would have to say Courage the Cowardly Dog.
I have to also support the classics like bugs.
