They seem to be looking for just a couple of answers from each team not multiple random members. The first survey can actually be:

Team Lead Mentor (I assume an adult)
Team Captain (explicitly a student)The KOP survey is similar to last year's, and the team survey wants our opinions on some significant growth issues.
Here are copies of each survey if you're interested.

P.S.
The end of the second survey affirms the Januray 3, 2009 kickoff date.

A followup plea for survey takers...
----------------------------------------

Greetings Teams:

The two online FRC surveys, Kit of Parts and FRC events, will expire on Friday, July 11, 2008. If you've already provided your feedback, thank you very much! If you haven't be able to fill out the survey yet, please do so. We look forward to, appreciate, and use your feedback!

More than 400 people have responded to the Kit of Parts survey to date, but we still need at least 400 more respondents to exceed the number of surveys completed last year (but it would be truly fantastic to hear from each and every one of you)! Please have one mentor and one team captain from your team fill out the survey and let us know your thoughts. The Kit of Parts survey can be found at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=4o7wbXVEnuQiL48dg3PflQ_3d_3d (https://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=4o7wbXVEnuQiL48dg3PflQ_3d_3d).

More than 240 people have responded to the FRC events survey to date, but we know that there are many more who have opinions and want to be heard! Please take advantage of this opportunity and let us know your thoughts. The FRC events survey can be found at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=U2vcXQLxN4PkkJD2g_2bhmwQ_3d_3d (https://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=U2vcXQLxN4PkkJD2g_2bhmwQ_3d_3d).

Thank you so much for your time and thoughts. Have a wonderful summer.

Go Teams!

FIRST is asking some interesting questions. Be sure your team answers the surveys!

I have no issue with FIRST asking these questions. After all, without feedback, how can you tell how you are doing? But..............

When questions are asked like the two posted in the pic, and no no additional feedback on the other alternatives is obtained, you end up with a biased survey. I don't even mind a biased survey as long as you are informed going into the survey that you will be asked questions on the possible new direction things will be, or might be, headed.

If you are asked a question with four possible answers, and only one of those questions is then followed up on, you have bias.
