This off season our team was working on a crab drive design and we realized that we had given our globe motors away. We need two to turn our crab modules. Does anyone know where we can buy them or would any team be willing to give/ sell us any? :D

I'm pretty sure this has been covered before, but Globes are notoriously difficult to get a hold of. No retailers sell them, so the only way to get them is from a FIRST team who hasn't used them. Definitely try CD swap, or ask people from other teams.

I guess my advice if you can't find one would be to use the fp motor with the right gear reduction. It would probably be much heavier but fps also have a much higher power output than the globes.

That is a good point. I don't know what your modules look like or how heavy they are, but globe motors might not be powerful enough.

combine it with a andymark planetary gearbox, that may help the power issues
