Minnesota Madness!

Dear teams,

You are invited to participate in a mini-regional called Minnesota Madness hosted by Teams 2264 Trojan Robotics and 1816 The Green Machine.

• When: July 22nd from 10 am to 6 pm
• Where: Eagan High School (4185 Braddock Trail, Eagan, MN, 55123)
• Cost: a registration fee of $100 per team
• RSVP: please email minnesotamadnessregist@gmail.com by July 13th if you would like to attend.
• Rule <G22> will be changed so that a robot has to cross completely back over the line to be penalized.
• Inspection will be based on the honor system.
• There will be a 5 pound grace on the weight limit.

As this is very last minute, we will be sending out an email the day after the registration deadline either confirming or canceling the event depending on whether or not enough teams are able to attend. We really hope your team can come!

I hate to bump my own thread but with only 5 days until the registration deadline, I want to make sure that teams in the area are aware of this event.

If you have friends on FIRST teams in the area, please spread the word. We still only have 3 teams signed up. It should be fun! Pizza for lunch and burritos for dinner if you stay for the after party!

We have put quite a bit of effort into this. :)

Is there any way you guys can postpone the event? It was a little short notice.

Yeah, it really was short notice. I am not sure right now but I am sure that we will be discussing a postponement if more teams don't sign up soon. :)

It's our first time doing this if you can't tell. :D
